Randy Hollingsworth May 24, 1960 – July 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Randy Hollingsworth, 59, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 from 7-9pm at Lowndes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11:00AM from the Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Brown to officiate and Chaplain Jonathan Blackburn to assist. Interment will immediately follow from the Vaughn Cemetery in Caledonia. Born May 24, 1960, in Columbus, Mr. Hollingsworth was a Baptist. He had many hobbies and interests, including: playing cards, hunting, fishing, motorcycles working on old cars, landscaping and restoring and selling furniture. He was self-employed and enjoyed a long-standing career as an Auctioneer with Hollingsworth Auction. A patriarch of his family, he was a devoted husband, father and especially treasured his role as “Paw Paw”, as he was loving referred to by his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Kidd and one sister Lena Cantrell. Mr. Hollingsworth is survived by his wife of 36 years Melba Booth Hollingsworth; three sons: Philip Booth of Eupora, Jacob Hollingsworth and Jonathan Hollingsworth both of Caledonia; grandchildren: Collin, Evan, Mason and Tayler Booth, Sean, Eli, Avery, Nevaeh and Kyrstin Hollingsworth, and Brody and Thomas “Rhett” Hollingsworth; and one brother Woody Kidd of Starkville. Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Smith, Michael Smith, Josh Welch, Charlie Cantrell, Collin Booth and Evan Booth. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Scott, Allen Jones, Chris Jones, Steve Butler, Pete Cantrell and Mike Hollis. In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
