WINTERPORT – Ramona Lee (Foss) Carter, 84, entered into eternal rest with her Lord Jesus Christ, on July 15, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 13, 1935 in Machias, the daughter of Vinal and Mabel (Guilford) Foss. Ramona is survived by her sons, Toney Hall of Winterport, Timothy Hall of Belfast, Eddy Hall of Belfast, Brent Hall of Vassalboro and Florida, and Shane Thompson of Bangor; sisters, Elva Guernsey of Old Town and Margaret Murphy of N.Y. ; brothers, Raymond Foss of Franklin and Donald Foss of Bremen, GA; many grandchildren including a special granddaughter and caregiver Amber Harriman, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, She was predeceased by her son, Ernest Hall; daughter, Thelma Hall; granddaughter, Christian Morrison; sister, Dottie Foss; and brother, Vinal Foss, Jr. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at a memorial gathering 2 pm to 4 pm. Sunday July 21, 2019 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St. Bangor. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Old Town.
