Psalms 29:2 Percy Barnes was born on June 27, 1958 to Mr. Mack and Eloise Barnes. Percy passed away at the age of 61 at Tulane Medical Center, Thursday, July 18, 2019. Percy was a great husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by many. Percy leaves his family to cherish his memory a wife Elaine Barnes of 36 years, three sons, Christopher (Latoya) Barnes, Tremel (Quanisha) Barnes and Jermaine Barnes all of Franklinton, LA. Seven grandchildren, four sisters, Linda (Michael) Barnes Bickham, Cassandra Barnes and Anita Barnes; two brothers, Alton (Brenda) Barnes and Kenney Ray Barnes all of Franklinton and a host of nieces, nephews and friends and family. Percy was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Mack Barnes and one sister, Mrs. Rosa Barnes. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Washington Street, Franklinton, LA., and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Dareale Sophser will be officiating.
