Penelope “Penny” J. Quinn, age 78, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 20, 2019. She was born June 1, 1941. After attending college at SDSU she moved to MN where she met the love of her life T. Michael Quinn. They united in marriage August 26, 1967. She is preceded in death by parents, Travis and Berniece (Stienstra) Bunn. She is survived by loving husband of 52 years, T. Michael Quinn; daughters, Michelle (Duane) Smith and Deborah (Glen) Schilling; grandchildren, Taylor and Travis Smith, Katherine and Nicole Schilling; brother, Steve (Char) Bunn, Along with many other family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 19, 2019 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN. Visitation will be from 3-6 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S., Cottage Grove as well as one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
