Paul A. Muensterman, 60, of Evansville, passed away Friday, July, 12, 2019 at home. Paul was born July 24, 1958 in Evansville to Leo and Frances Hurst Muensterman. He graduated from Sacred Heart Grade School and was a 1977 graduate of F. J. Reitz High School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a 30 year employee at Mesker Park Zoo working as a zookeeper and later working in maintenance. His favorite memory of his time at the zoo was caring for Bunny, the elephant, especially when she allowed him to ride on her back. He enjoyed visiting other zoos in the area while on vacation. Paul is survived by his mother, Frances Muensterman and three brothers, Joe (Pam) Muensterman, Henry Muensterman and Thomas Muensterman, all of Evansville. He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Muensterman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev. John Brosmer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
