She was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Newman; and her mother Delores L. Perry. Survivors include her daughter Shauna (David) Goodman; father Robert M. Perry; siblings Wanda (Chris) Branch and Troy Perry; granddaughter Hailee Goodman; and many other family members. Visitation will take place at Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home on Monday, July 22nd from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again on Tuesday, July 23rd from 11 A.M. until the hour of Service at 2 P.M. with Bro. Cecil Boswell officiating. Interment follows at Friendship FWB Church Cemetery.
