Michael Neil MacNeil June 27, 2019 Michael Neil MacNeil died suddenly on June 27, 2019 at the age of 49. He is survived by his son, Arron; sister, Melanie; and fiancé, Kari. Michael was born in Hampton, VA on December 1, 1969 to the late Hugh and Sylvia Fay MacNeil. After graduating from Bethel High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a lance crewmember and motor transport operator from 1987 to 1991, which included a tour in Germany. He enjoyed playing his electric guitar and even further enjoyed the time he invested with his family and close friends. He always appreciated a good laugh and was happy to share these moments with others. Michael held many jobs throughout his lifetime and ultimately settled on plumbing. He was assiduous in his work ethic, with unrivaled pride in ensuring the job was always done properly, harkening back to the Army mantras of “discipline” and being “physically and mentally tough.” He will be profoundly missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at First United Church of Christ at 1017 Todds Lane, Hampton, and will be officiated by Reverend Ann Watson Hill.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Michael Neil MacNeil June 27 2019.
