Michael’s Obituary Michael D. Freiberg, age 41 of Port Huron, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019. He was born in Big Rapids on November 2, 1977, the son of Robert Frieberg and Roxann Perron. Michael graduated from Port Huron High School in 1998. He earned his Bachelor of Business and Finance from St. Clair Community College. Michael enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially football. He had many talents; he liked remodeling and construction. Michael collected various things that caught his eye, including Hot Wheels. He loved his family and his friends who he thought of as family. Michael will be greatly missed. He is survived by his two children, Kendell Marie Freiberg and Khale Daniel Freiberg of Jeddo; his mother, Roxann (Howard II) Perron of Port Huron; his father, Robert Freiberg of Rodney; two siblings, Robert (Amber) Freiberg of Port Huron and Susan (fiancé Wayne Tacey) Freiberg of Stanwood; five nephews and one niece, Ethan, Lucas, Dylan, Anthony, Amanda, and Cody; two great-nephews, Carson and Oliver; one step-grandmother, Blanche Perron of Big Rapids; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents; step-grandfather; infant brother, Tommy Freiberg; and brother, Daniel Freiberg. Funeral services will take place 12:00 p.m. (noon) Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Devon Herrell officiating. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 16th at the funeral home.
