May is survived by her husband, Dan Gibbs; a son, Daniel Gibbs and his wife, Terri, all of Ardmore; two brothers, Eddie Hefner of Wilson and Joe Hefner of Laguna Hills, California. In addition to her parents, May rejoins other loved ones including; six brothers, Roy, Samuel, Harold, Tom, Dories and Carl Hefner and three sisters, Ruth, Alva and Betty.
