Mary Lou Williams, age 81, of Hampton, TN passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Waters of Roan Highlands. A native of Roan Mountain, she was the daughter of the late William Marion Julian and Mattie Jane Townsend Julian. She had worked as a caretaker. Mary Lou loved animals, especially cats and dogs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Julian and Howard Julian; three sisters, Florence Barnett, Oledia Butler and Pauline Barnett and by a step-grandson, Brandon S. Foster. Those left to cherish her memory include a son, Keith Williams (Pam), Hampton, TN; one grandchild, Austin Lane Taylor (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Aiden Taylor, Cane Taylor and Ridge Taylor; a sister, Jeanette Calhoun, Hampton, TN and three brothers, Willard Julian, Norman Julian and Herbert Julian, all of Hampton, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, Hampton, TN from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friends may also call at the home of her son or her sister at any time. Private disposition will be held at a later date.
