Longtime Petoskey resident, Mary L. Gruler, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Mary’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 26th at Stone Funeral Home and again in the gathering space of St. Francis Church beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Her life will be remembered and celebrated during a Memorial Mass that is planned for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 27th at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Fr. Dennis Stilwell will officiate. Mary will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, next to her husband Frank who preceded her in death on May 9th, 1975. She was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
