HOGAN December 24, 1964 – July 15, 2019 Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mary Louise Seals Hogan was born December 24, 1964 in Dayton Ohio to Betty Seals and the late Alonzo Franklin. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. Mary was a stay at home mother and when her children became of age she began working for Crown Packaging as a production worker. Mary accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized at a young age. Mary was a very family oriented person and embodied all of the attributes of a perfect daughter, wife, mom, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was loving, caring, thoughtful, hardworking, compassionate and so much more. She always worked hard, never complained and was there when you needed her. She was truly loved and will be truly missed. On Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 54, Mary Louise Seals Hogan unexpectedly transitioned from this life to be in the presence of the Lord. She was also preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Franklin; grandmother, Louise Ratliff; grandfather, Mckinely Ratliff; brother-in-law, Edward Frankie Carr and niece, Erica Seals Peterson. Mary leaves to cherish fond memories and celebrate her life; her husband, Lucious Hogan; (3) children, Tanica Seals, Sherri (Chris) Seals and George (Brittany) Cole, Jr.; grandchildren, Dion’Janae Casey, La’nija McNair, Ta’Niya McNair, Christopher DeVaughns III “Tre”, Kimary DeVaughns, Kristionna DeVaughns, and Chaiden DeVaughns; mother, Betty Seals; siblings, Donna Carr and Edward Seals; special nephew, Lewis Crutch III; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., TUESDAY, July 23, 2019 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Reverend Robert Jackson, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment: West Memory Gardens.
