Mary Jo Loomis, longtime resident of Ballwin, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10 at Delmar Gardens in Chesterfield, Missouri. Born on July 13, 1947, Mary Jo was the daughter of Jack and Verna Loomis and the sister of the late Donald Merrick. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Judy Merrick, nephew Bob Merrick (Cheryl), nieces Lisa Johnson (Kent) and Laura Puricelli (Dave), great nephews and nieces Heather Pratt (Nick), Geoff Merrick, Tyler and Paige Clouse, Jonathan, Alex and Claire Puricelli, and great great nephew Shawn Pratt. She will be remembered for her strong spirit, beautiful singing voice and love of animals. Donations can be made to House Rabbit Society of Missouri – St. Louis.
