Mary’s Obituary Graveside services honoring and remembering Mary Ann Eason will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, OK. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 2-4pm at Rice Funeral Service in Claremore. Mary Ann Eason passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Mary was born April 5, 1945, in Bossier City, Louisiana, the daughter of Johnny R. Price and Alberta (Perry) Price. Mary’s father served in the US Air Force, and as a result moved around a lot in her younger years. She eventually settled in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Arlington Heights High School. Mary met her future husband Jerry Eason in Ft. Worth. On December 28, 1971 the couple made the drive to Oklahoma to be married. They pulled into Durant, Oklahoma about midnight, and rousted a minster and his wife out of bed to perform last minute ceremony. The family relocated to Claremore in April of 1980, where Jerry and Mary founded Eason Collision. Mary worked for many years in the insurance industry, before transitioning into property management, managing several large properties, as well as being co-owner of Eason Collision in Claremore. Mary loved to travel, going to the islands: taking cruises with Jerry, family and friends. She was a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Jane Willis; and one niece: Sandy Willis Mary is survived by her husband, Jerry Eason of Claremore; her children: John Nanney and his wife Jill of Claremore, Jason Eason of Claremore, Patricia Walker and her husband Danny of Claremore, two stepsons: Jerry W. “Chip” Eason, Jr. and Lance Eason and his wife Jennifer all of Texas; grandchildren: Montana Nanney, Autumn Nanney, Kendall Nanney, Gavin Eason, Caysie Eason, Daniel Walker, Dillon Walker, Nathan Eason, Brandon Eason, Justin Eason, Brittany Emeterio, Courtney Eason and her husband Ahmed; seven great-grandchildren; two siblings: Robert Price, and Donna Price of Texas; brother-in-law: Charles Willis of Texas; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
