Mary Alexis Friend (Haynes), passed away on Monday July 15, 2019, at Longmeadow Nursing Home in Justin, Texas, after her valiant fight with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on June 26, 1944 in Portland, OR to Paul Frederick Haynes and Doloris Evelyn Haynes (Bales). She lived the majority of her life in St. Joseph, MO. She enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing. She is survived by her son Shane Heath and his wife Kathy Heath, four grandchildren (Torie, Payden, Shelbie and Kylee), eight great grandchildren, and her sister Sharon Petkoff (Haynes) and her husband Jim Petkoff. Memorial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Hosanna Fellowship, 17290 U.S. 71 Business, St Joseph, MO 64505. There will be no viewing or visitation.
