DeVoe, 97, of Marinette, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Luther Manor. She was born on July 21, 1921 to the late Edward and Charlotte (Hornick) Wiltzius in Marinette. She Graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 1939. She had worked at Lauerman’s Department Store, Montgomery Wards, Wisconsin Bell Telephone Co. and Melanie’s Dress Store. Marion enjoyed playing cards (she was a member of the M&M Bridge Club and other clubs for over 60 years), crocheting, knitting, ceramics, arts & crafts, bowling, loved being a seamstress and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and was an active member of the Altar Society. Marion is survived by one daughter, Sandy Parelli and her husband Armando Mendez, of Anaheim, CA. two granddaughters, Lynette and Jaclyn Parelli, one great granddaughter, Justice Parelli, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Dakota, four brothers and sister-in-law’s and one sister and brother-in-law. Funeral Services will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Monday, July 15th from 10:30 until time of service at 11am with Deacon Jerome Thetreau officiating. Marion will be laid to rest at Forest Home Mausoleum. Her daughter would like to express her deepest gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff of Luther Manor which her mom called home for many years. Thanks also to the Heartland staff for their help and assistance.
