Marie R. Morrison January 27, 1942 – July 28, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Marie R. Morrison, 77, of Selbyville, DE, passed away on July 28, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Joseph and Avis Rossiter on January 27, 1942 in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Mount Rainer, MD, and resided in various places in Maryland attending St. Jeromes school, St. James school, and Regina High School. Marie worked as an administrative aid for the Maryland State Legislature. She was also a loving mother to her children, and caring grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Society of Decorative Arts and the NRA and was a student of the Institute of the Constitution. She enjoyed to read, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and camping. She loved all things Christmas. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John R. Morrison; her five daughters, Melissa Marie Cesky (Tom) of Severna Park, Amanda Anne Morrison of Edgewater, Kerry Kathleen Morrison (Dan Kane) of Crownsville, Maureen Elizabeth Bronk (Peter) of Arnold, and Megan Alane Morrison of Severn; her son John Patrick Morrison (Kelly) of Millersville; her four brothers, James B. Kline (Del) of Derwood, Eugene S. Kline (Jeanie) of East Potomic, Leo J. Rossiter (Beth) of West Fenwick Island, DE, and George E. Rossiter of Annapolis; 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Avis Rossiter. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home and Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. Burial is to follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
