Margaret E. Buschman, age 81, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Prairie Creeks Living Center in Strasburg, Colorado. She was born on October 11, 1937, in Logan County, Colorado to Edward and Mildred (Jordan) Grosshans. She graduated High School in 1955 and a year later married the love of her life, Harold Buschman on July 21, 1956. Margaret lived just west of Brighton on Highway 7 and Havana after moving there in 1993 from her first home on 120th and E-470. She worked in downtown Denver, and even helped edit and publish “The Channell”- a publication for the Ye Olde Auto Club. Prior to working those jobs, however, she was a stay at home mom where she raised and cared for her beautiful family. Margaret is survived by; her daughter, Mildred (Maurice) Mertens of Strasburg, Colorado, two sons, Ernest Buschman of Ft. Lupton, Colorado and Carl (Jeanette) Buschman of Gore, Oklahoma. Along with two sisters; Carol (Bob) Hemker of Kimball, Nebraska and Ruth (Jay) Gohl of Mantica, California, and her brother, Gerald (Mary) Grosshans of Cedaredge, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Buschman, both parents, Edward and Mildred, along with six of her beloved brothers. Margaret will truly be missed by those whom knew her, may her soul rest in peace. Family, friends and others whose lives Margaret touched are all invited to Tabor-Rice Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 5-8 PM, and for her Funeral Service Friday, July 26, 2019, beginning at 11 AM, to help celebrate and reminiscence her beautiful life. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, in Brighton, Colorado.
