Luis M. Villanueva, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2019 in Del Rio, Texas. Luis was born on May 10, 1934 to parents Ignacio and Guadalupe Villanueva. Luis is preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Guadalupe Villanueva; his brother, Eliseo Villanueva. Luis is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Berta Villanueva; daughters: Maria Guadalupe Oviedo and husband Romulo of Del Rio, Maria Lourdes Ramos and husband Benny of Del Rio, and Blanca Luna and husband Jonathan of Leander, Texas; son, Ignacio Villanueva and wife Alma Leticia of Del Rio, Jose Luis Villanueva of Leander, Texas, Carlos Villanueva of Del Rio; He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren as well as other relatives. Pallbearers will be: Adrian Ramos, Marcos Ramos, Alex Oviedo, Miguel Angel Oviedo, Sergio Villanueva and Antonio Villanueva. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 from 11A.M. to 1:30 P.M. at G.W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Westlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of G.W.
