Lucy May Brown August 17, 1929 – July 21, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Lucy May Brown, age 89, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, July 21 2019 at Cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home. She was born on August 17, 1929 in Lebanon, Kentucky. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by husband, George F. Brown, Sr.; parents, Joseph and Lydia Clements Porter; son, Joseph Brown; daughter, Marcella Porter; four brothers, Charles Porter, Louis Porter, Spalding Porter and Thomas Porter; two sisters, Elizabeth Johnson and Mary Catherine Webster. Survivors include her three sons, George L. (Elizabeth) Brown, Thomas Brown, and James Leo Brown; seven daughters, Mary Ann (Terry) Gray, Mary E. Miller, Emma Smith, Gloria Brown, Doris Brown, Geraldine Brown, and Louise Brown; four sisters, Grace Owens, Ollie (Charles) Calhoun, Jane Porter-Chenawilt and Rose (Jimmy) Graves; brother, Steve Porter. Also surviving are a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Bosley Funeral Home.
