Louis’ Obituary MR. LOUIS THOMAS PEACE, JR., affectionately known to his family and friends as Bruh, was born September 30, 1933 in Granville County, North Carolina to the late Louis Thomas, Sr. and Julia Ann Chavis Peace. He entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He attended public schools in Vance County. He was a dedicated Farmer for many years and retired at Clayton Homes of Oxford. At an early age he was affiliated with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family, and especially loved his coffee Buddies at McDonalds. He was soft spoken, but had an affectionate laugh and smile. He was a joy to be around. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Emma Coley Peace of the home; five daughters, Carolyn Peace, Gail Peace Macon (Cleveland) and Tondra Peace-Harris (Jerome) all of Henderson NC, Rita Peace-Thomas (Willie III) and Renee Peace (Orlando) both of Oxford NC; one son, Tommie Lee Peace (Angela) of Henderson NC; two sisters, Mary Frances Peace of Kittrell NC and Dorothy J. Peace of Oxford NC; one sister-in-law Ruby Solomon Brandon (Joseph) of Kittrell NC; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends. In addition to his parent Louis was also preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Royster and Lois Brandon; one brother, Samuel Peace. Interment will be in the Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The family of Louis T.
