Lillian Ruth Mitchell February 11, 1942 – July 24, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Lillian Ruth Mitchell, age 77, of Ekron, KY passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY. Lillian was born February 11, 1942 in Wolf Creek, KY to the late Harry Edward and Lillian Anna Elizabeth King Troutman. Lillian was a hairdresser for over 25 years and a member of Ekron Baptist Church. Her husband, William “Bill” Mitchell, daughter, Charlotte Michelle Nichols, brother, Louis Edward Troutman and cousin, Lee Parr King preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Cheri (Gary) Swink of Hardinsburg, KY, Caryn (Danny) Thomas of Battletown, KY and Candi (Patrick) Pack of Vine Grove, KY; step-daughter, Rebecca Davis; grandchildren, Toni Nichols, Bobbie Nichols, Chrystal Compton, Jeffrey Swink, Ja’net Cummings, Angie Matthews, Bradley Thomas, Eric Troutman, Rusty Thomas and Jon Pack; 2 step-grandchildren, Shelby and Amanda; 17 great-grandchildren with one on the way and 4great-great grandchildren with one on the way. Funeral service will be held Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. EDT from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27 from 11 A.M. until 8 P.M. EDT and Sunday after 10 A.M. EDT at the funeral home.
