Leonard’s Obituary TAMBURELLO, Leonard D. of Lynn, entered into rest on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He was 68 years old. Born in Denver, Colorado, Leonard made Massachusetts his home for many years. He was retired from the banking industry working in securities. Beloved husband of Delight D. (Oja) for over 48 years. Dear and devoted father of Timothy Tamburello and his wife, Julie of Saugus, Dominic Tamburello of Charlestown, Hillary Tamburello of Everett, Sarah Tamburello of Lynn, Gianna Tamburello of Lynn and Angellina Tamburello of Lynn. Leonard is the loving grandfather of Eliza Tamburello, Sabrina Tamburello, Alexis Tamburello, Nathaniel Tamburello, Alyvia Tamburello and Sophia Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by several siblings. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Leonard’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Thursday, July 18 from 4-7 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Francis de Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St., Charlestown at 9:30 a.m. Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Leonard’s memory to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108 would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
