A Prayer Service for Lawrence John Thomas will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Family and friends will be received 4:00-7:00 PM, Monday, July 22nd, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Lawrence was born April 21, 1945 in Akron, Ohio. He passed away July 17, 2019, at his sister’s home, in Concord Township. He served in the U. S. Army. He was a financial advisor. He also attended Kent State University. He was a member of the Painesville VFW, the Painesville Moose Lodge and American Legion Post #336. Lawrence is survived by his daughters, Marie (Brian) Hausner and Deidre (Justin) Montoya; sister, Jan (Kenneth) Mussig; grandchildren, Landon Montoya, Hudson Montoya, Logan Hausner, Jason Hausner; nephews, Michael (Cathy) Mussig, Scott Mussig, Jeff Mussig; and his beloved companion, Kathy March. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne (Kelly) Thomas and his parents, John and Enid (Eisenberg) Thomas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to: Hospice of the Western Reserve.
