Laura Ferraro, 91, of Riverside, CT, passed away in Greenwich Hospital on July 11, 2019. She was born in Woodside, Queens, NY on January 9, 1928 to Frances Napoli and John Clano. Laura was married to Joseph Uvino for 26 years until his passing in 1973. She then was married to Harry Ferraro of Stamford, CT for 35 years, until his passing in 2011. Laura is survived by her son, Joseph Lawrence Uvino, his wife Theresa, and her stepson James Ferraro and wife Greer. She is also survived by her six Grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren. Laura worked as a Secretary for several different companies, including, but not limited to Georgia-Pacific in Stamford CT. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, and family; she loved to travel, socialize, and dance. She is pre-deceased by her siblings Sarah Rizzo, and Lawrence Clano. The visitation will be held on Monday, July 15th from 9am to 11am, with prayer service following from 11am to 11:30am at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. After the service, friends and family will go to Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY, where she will be laid to rest. The family has entrusted Laura’s final arrangements to Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford.
