Larry G Bigam July 13, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Memorial Donation Larry G. Bigam, age 77, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, passed away July 13, 2019, at home. He was born on May 29, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to Homer and Marian Dale (Bowshier) Bigam. Larry was a 1960 graduate of Monroe High School. He was a machinist at Timken Roller Bearing followed by many years of Farming. Larry retired from Fisher Guide/Delphi in 2005. Larry was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many summers in Canada on Lake of the Woods. He enjoyed racing sprints cars and dwarf cars with friends and family. He was also involved in mud running and pulling trucks. He was the “Country Gentleman”. While raising his family, he was a baseball coach, 4-H advisor, and involved Westfall Booster club. A member of the Masonic Lodge # 269, Mt. Sterling as well as a member of Aladdin Shrine. Larry was preceded in death by his father Homer and mother Marian Dale. He is survived by his loving wife Mona, his four children: Robyn (Joe McClung) Campbell, Jacqueline (Brad) Crenshaw, Bradley (Tina) Bigam, and Grant (Kerri) Bowman, his brothers: Jeffrey (Amber) Bigam, and Gregory (Barb) Bigam. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Whitney, Casey, Molly, Kari, Sarah, Emily, Nathaniel, Wilford, Brittany, Beau, Chera, and Trevor, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous loving relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 6-8 PM followed by a Masonic Service at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 331 W. MAIN ST., MT. STERLING, OH.,43143. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2019, at 11 AM. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Antioch Freewill Baptist Church 10050 Kiousville-Palestine Rd, Mt. Sterling, OH 43143. Interment will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, OH.
