Keven Aaron Doan, 25, of Weaverville, NC passed away on July 20, 2019. Keven was born January 28, 1994 in Buncombe County, NC to Barry Gordon Doan and Belinda Taylor Doan. He worked in construction with his father, while in his free time the loved the lake life and fishing. Kev’s favorite thing to do was to help people. He enjoyed NASCAR and was a self-taught chef as well. Keven is preceded in passing by his grandmother Mary J. Smith, and paternal aunt Joy Edwards. He is survived by his parents; grandparents Carvel and Laura Taylor of Weaverville, NC and Leroy Doan of Greenville, TN; stepmother Gina Doan (Barry); aunts and uncles Dwain Taylor (Miranda), Rocky Doan, Ivan Doan, Victor Doan (Pam), Ruth Tyler, and Holly Jamerson; stepbrothers Zach and Riley Haney of Waynesville, NC; stepsister Morgan Haney of Nashville, TN; and his very special nephew Atlas Haney of Waynesville, NC, whom Keven called ‘Goober’. A service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 1:00PM at Morgan Hill Baptist Church, located at 594 Barnardsville Hwy Weaverville, NC 28787. Reverends William Edmonds and Greg Warren will be presiding.
