Newbraugh, 62 years of age, and a resident of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2019, in Kentucky following a sudden illness. He was born April 28, 1957 in Lorain. Keith attended Clearview High School. He had made his home in Kentucky for twenty-two years. He was employed as a assembler at Ford Motor Company. Keith loved bowling. He loved country living, nature and swimming. As a youth he was active with the Boy Scouts and was a decorated Eagle Scout. Survivors include his wife Rita Newbraugh; his daughter Crystal Monroe of Tennessee; his mother Betty Newbraugh of Lorain; seven grandchildren; his brother Ron Newbraugh of Elyria, Bill Newman of Lorain; his sisters Linda Fleming and Judy Ondeka both of Lorain and Patsy Pedraza of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his son Caleb; brothers Keith Newbraugh, Steve Newbraugh, David Newbraugh; and his infant sister Carolyn and his father Frank D. Newbraugh. Keith will be remembered and celebrated at his brother David’s funeral. Friends may call Saturday, July 20, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
