Kathleen Joel Abbott, 50, of Texas formerly of Zanesville, passed away July 13, 2018 at Genesis Emergency Room. She was born April 25, 1968 in Newark, daughter of Seward Johnson and Sue Johnson. She was graduated of Newark High School and attended MATC. She drove Star Bright Cab and was a janitor at Licking Valley School. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, John Devol; daughters, Waneta Owens, Heather Green; brothers, David Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Jeffrey Spencer (Janella Bond); grandchildren, Michael, Dekin, Parker, Kriz, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Riley, Kashia, A.J., Chase, Kernada; nephews, Jeff Spencer Jr., Charles Boyer Jr.; nieces, Charleen Bond, Natalee Boyer, Tasha Spencer, Stephanie Johnson, Alexandra Johnson, Jennifer Spencer. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Keith Devol Jr. A dignified cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday July 27, 2018 at Zanesville Northside Church of the Nazarene, 739 Francis Street, Zanesville, OH 43701 with Dr. Jim Miller officiating. Graveside services for Kathleen Joel Abbott & Danny Keith Devol Jr. will take place 11:00 AM Friday, September 6, 2019 at Mt. Sterling Cemetery,8185 Hopewell National Rd.
