Kathleen’s Obituary Kathleen B Sutarik, age 70, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Ashland Health Services. She was born August 30, 1948, in Ashland, the daughter of Milton and Elizabeth (Zilke) Foley. In 1966, she graduated from Ashland High School. She worked at Munsingwear in Ashland, for 18 years. On June 14, 1973, she married Robert Sutarik, in Ashland. Kathleen then attained an associates degree, from a technical school, in Duluth, MN. She worked as a x-ray tech, for Memorial Medical Center, in Ashland and for many years at Chequamegon Clinic, in Ashland, prior to her retiring. Kathleen was the union rep and helped form the union while she was working at Chequamegon Clinic. She was excellent with ceramics and was even asked to teach it. Kathleen enjoyed cooking, baking, making soup, and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by he loving husband, Robert, Ashland; two brothers, James (Patricia) Foley, Waseca, MN and Patrick Foley, Ashland; two sisters, Diane (Jim) Empey, Duluth and Linda (Gary) Olson, Clitherall, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Saron Lutheran Church, in Ashland, with Pastor Paul Simmons officiating. Inurnment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, in Ashland. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at Saron Lutheran Church, in Ashland.
