Juanita Harber, 94, of Jonesville, VA passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the Lee Health and Rehab Center in Pennington Gap, VA. She was saved and baptized at an early age and lived her whole life for the Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Rose Hill, VA. She was a homemaker. She loved her family and loved the Lord. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Mary Greer; one brother, Robert Greer and two sisters, Virginia Sloane and Jessie Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanie and Darrell Hines and Janie and Bill McDavid, both of Jonesville, VA; three grandchildren, Ryan Hines of Roanoke, VA, Mason Hines of Jonesville, VA and Hannah McDavid of Jonesville, VA; five great-grandchildren, Braelyn Lewis, Clayton, Conner, Camron and Collin Hines; one sister, Frona Johnson of St. Charles, Missouri; one brother, Reed Greer of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 1 until 2:00 p.m. at Robinette Funeral Home in Jonesville, VA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carols Wolfe officiating. An entombment service will be held following the funeral at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA. The family would like to thank Lee Health and Rehab staff and residents for the care given to Juanita the past few years. They were friends full of kindness, love and compassion.
