Joseph L. Favreau February 22, 1933 – July 31, 2019 WEST CHAZY -Joseph L. Favreau, 86, of O’Neil Road, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Beekmantown on February 22, 1933 the son of Armond and Ella (Goodman) Favreau. Joseph served in the United States Air force from 1953 to 1954. He married the former Norma Spoor on February 26, 1965 in Alburg, VT. Joseph was employed by Georgia Pacific for 40 years and also a substitute bus driver for Beekmantown Central School for over 50 years. Joseph enjoyed bowling, mowing his yard, working on the Spoor farm with his family and watching the Yankee’s play baseball. Survivors include his sons, Danny (Jennifer) Favreau of West Chazy and Kevin (Starr) Favreau of Yuma, AZ; daughters, Tina (Keith) Garrow of Plattsburgh and Lisa Favreau of West Chazy; sister, Pauline (Leonard) Reyell of Morrisonville and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, parents, brothers, Armond and Lawrence, and sisters, Shirley and Helen. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens, Ellenburg Depot.
