John Wayne Groover, age 76, of Lizton, Indiana passed from this world on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. He was born on Friday, March 19, 1943, in Lebanon, Indiana to James Richard Groover and Genieve (Glenn) Groover. He was very proud to be a part of the 101st Airborne division during his time serving his country in the Army. He is survived by his daughters Marnie Swalley, and Anna (husband, Kelly) DeVine; son John (wife, Carrie) Groover; sister Judith “Judy” Johnson; brothers David Groover, Michael Groover, and Ben Robinson; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog Bear, and many extended family and friends. He is loved and greatly missed by all who knew him. Celebration of life will be held on July 20, 2019 4pm at 9243 N County road 200 West, Lizton, Indiana 46149
