John passed peacefully from this life Friday June 7, 2019 at the age of 91. Born and raised on a farm in North Dakota, he left his home at age 21 and joined the Army, serving two years in the Korean War handling artillery. After being honorably discharged, he met and married Elizabeth (Betty) Zentner. They began their family and chose to raise their four children in Billings.
