John Robert Helderman passed away on July 18, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born on July 8, 1980 in Vincennes, Indiana the son of Richard Wayne and Carole Anne(Mason) Helderman. John attended North Knox High School where he graduated in 1998, He worked for Halter Tree Service as a tree trimmer. He loved his grandchildren, cooking, fishing and working on cars. He is survived by his mother, children Danielle Bland and significant other Karl Horton of Vincennes, Alexandra “Ali” Bland of Bruceville and Aaron Helderman also of Bruceville. His siblings Charles and Jerra Helderman of Vincennes, four nieces Sierra, Shelby, Kaitlyn, and Brooklyn Helderman. two grandchildren Owen and Karson Horton also survive. John was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents Lloyd and Ellen Helderman and maternal grandparents Charles and Evaline Mason. Visitation will be on Monday July 29, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes Vincennes Chapel 313 Church St. Vincennes, Indiana 47591. Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes and Crematory Vincennes Chapel is handling cremation arrangements. Condolences for the family may be left at fredrickandson.com.
