Jack Christy, 89 of Cape Canaveral, Florida passed away on July 17, 2019. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to Ralph and Annabel Christy. He attended Crafton HS and excelled in all sports. Jack graduated Elon College NC on a full football scholarship. Following graduation, he enlisted in the USMC and served as an officer in Korea. Before deploying, he married Mary Kerns at El Toro Marine Base CA. He coached at Ford City and Meadville HS in PA. He produced many successful basketball teams in his tenure. Jack is survived by Mary Kerns, daughters Kim, Jacqueline, Angela, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, son, daughter, sister, and brother. A funeral mass will be Our Saviour Church at 10:30 am.
