John’s Obituary John A. “Jack” Boivin, of Northville, formerly of Farmington Hills, passed away Monday morning, July 1, 2019. He was 92. Jack was born June 11, 1927, in Detroit, to the late Arthur J. and Mary C. (Bresnahan) Boivin. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Isabelle, in 2016. Surviving are his devoted children, Louise (Tim Cratchley), Barbara (Randy) Swiech, Joan, John (Debra) and Patricia (Tim) Senak; 19 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Jack’s funeral mass will be celebrated Monday morning, July 8th, at 11:00 am (in state at 10:00 am) at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd., Farmington. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
