Joe C. “J.C.” Williams was born on August 7, 1934 in Blanket. He graduated from Blanket High School and quickly went to work for Santa Fe Railway and worked every day of his adult life, retiring in 1998 from the mobile home business. He quickly went back to work as a crew transport driver for railroad crews until totally retiring in 2017. He loved all kinds of auto racing and the Houston sports teams. But most of all he loved friends and family, always taking the back seat, but loving seeing others having fun. He was content to sit back and watch family and friends enjoy life.
