Mrs. JoAnn Long, 87, of Marion, KY, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Crittenden Health Systems in Marion. Mrs. Long enjoyed being with her family, playing cards, fishing and shopping. She was a member of Marion Church of Christ. She is survived by four sons, Wayne (Lori) Long of Ledbetter, KY, Steve Long of Salem, KY, Robert Long and Ronald Long both of Marion, KY; two daughters, Janice (Mike) Johnston of Hopkinsville, KY and Teresa (Scott) Kayse of Marion, KY; sisters, Connie Cowan of Marion, KY, Bonnie Penn of Owensboro, KY, and Sue Belt of Marion, KY; brothers, Terry Young of Salem, KY, and Stanley Young of Marion, KY; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Long; son, Stanley Long; sisters, June Driver Norman and Mona Blake; brothers, Richard Young and James Young; and parents, Johnie and Annie Rustin Young. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, July 8, 2019, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with David Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour, Monday, July 8, 2019, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
