Jo’s Obituary Jo Ann Arment, 86, of Shipshewana, died 4:00 a.m., Friday July 19, 2019, at her home, of natural causes. She was born one of seven children on November 5, 1932 in Knox County, Missouri, to Serrell Sr. and Florence (Beard) Fountain. Jo Ann was a graduate of Knox County High School, Missouri and worked as a house mother at the college level. She was also a great mother and grandmother. She was known for her quilting and enjoyed baking cookies for neighbors and friends. She is survived by children, David (Pam) Arment of Shipshewana, Julie Arment of Buena Vista, Colorado, and Jody (Jana) Arment of Grimes, Iowa; six grandchildren; a great-grandson and two sisters, Margaret Anderson of Nokomis, Florida and Ezylene Snell of Canton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Betty Warner and Patricia Black and two brothers, Serrel Jr. and Walter Fountain. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Friends will be received, Thursday, July 25, 2019, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. At 7 p.m. there will be an informal Celebration and Remembrance Service.
