Jimmy Grimes, age 72 of Dublin, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019. He was a member of Dublin First Church of the Nazarene and was a devoted insurance agent for 38 years. Mr. Grimes was a family man as his family meant everything to him. His hobbies through the years included, CB Radio Club, horse back riding, drag racing and softball. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Emily Grimes, grandparents, James and Julia Locke, sisters, Jane Bridges, and Lisa Gibbs. Survivors include his wife, Gay Foskey Grimes, sons; Brad (Kimberly) Grimes, Eric (Shay) Grimes all of Dublin, grandchildren; Evan Grimes, Darcee Grimes, Brenna Grimes, Arley Grimes, sister; Karen (David) Price of Dublin, uncle, Eddie (Abbie) Locke of Scotland, aunt; Judy (Ralph) Jones of Warner Robins, uncle; Joel Locke, of Dublin, cousin, Susan (Larry) Little of Dublin, several nieces, nephews who were very special to him and his best friend; Bob Gay. A graveside service will be held at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery, Wednesday, July 31 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Advanced Health and Rehab of Twiggs County, 13 Spring Valley Road, Jeffersonville, GA.
