Jeffrey “AJ” L. Sterwalt, 59 of Watertown passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. AJ was born on October 3, 1959 in Watertown, the son of Albert and Gretchen (Gerth) Sterwalt. He married Renee Seefeldt on June 2, 2001 at the Watertown Moravian Church and the couple enjoyed 18 years of marriage. AJ worked for Fisher-Barton Specialty Products as a tool and die maker for 18 years. He was a Co-Owner of Brake Shots-Hubba Hubba in Oconomowoc. In AJ’s free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, riding his motorcycle, spending time up north at Shady Oaks camp ground, and being with his Rottweilers and favorite Black lab “Bear”. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate to have known him. AJ is survived by his wife Renee, his mother Gretchen Sterwalt of Watertown, brothers Gary (Jean) Sterwalt of Watertown and Allen Sterwalt (Gerald Spearman) of Villa Park, IL. Nephew Michael (Brittany) Sterwalt of Hartland, and Sister-in-law Eljean Johnson of Las Vegas. He is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his Father. A Funeral service for AJ will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dustin Yanke presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 4:00pm until the time of service. Memorials in AJ’s honor to Trinity Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
