Dateline-Portsmouth, NH Janis L. Dube, 67, passed away on July 6, 2019 at the Clipper Harbor Home in Portsmouth, NH. She was born November 5, 1951 in Kittery, ME, daughter of the late Benjamin and Florence (Sullivan) Condran. Janis grew up in Exeter, NH. She was a graduate of Exeter High School and served in the United States Army. She raised her family in Kingston, NH and then spent the rest of her life in Portsmouth, NH. Janis worked for nearly 20 years as an audit aide with the Internal Revenue Service in Portsmouth, NH. Janis was always the biggest personality in the room, and you could hear her laugh from a block away! She was always the first to give a hug and a kiss to her loved ones and her four grand-children were the light of her life. She always enjoyed a nice lobster dinner at Newick’s and an afternoon going to the movies. She was a lover of animals but had a particular fondness for cats. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William Condran. She is survived by her daughter, Meagan Dube of Exeter, NH, Meagan’s son, Cyrus St. Jean US Navy Airman, a son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Liz Dube of Indio, CA, their children, Alexys Lucas, Charles Lucas, and Andrew Dube, a sister, Catherine Waltz of Augusta, ME, Catherine’s sons, Joshua and Matthew Waltz and his wife Hannah, and their children Elijah and Sebastien, sister-in-law, Karen Condran of Hooksett, NH, and Karen’s sons, Zachary and Michael Condran, and her former husband, Thomas Dube. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, NH. A graveside service will follow on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Hillside Cemetery, East Kingston, NH. Flowers are acceptable.
