Janis’ Obituary Janis Elaine Keller passed away on July 4th at her home in Crawfordsville. She was 70. She was born to Harold and Eleanor Devitt on October 25, 1948 at Crawfordsville. She was a Crawfordsville High School Graduate in 1967. She married Harvey Keller on October 26, 1996. He passed away April 23, 2009. She was retired from St. Clare Medical Center as a medical secretary in the radiology department for 20 years. She also worked part time as a caregiver. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed life and helping people. She loved her granddaughters. She is survived by her son Ron Grana of Beech Grove; granddaughters Halle Grana and Kynlee Grana, both of Crawfordsville; nephews Mike Melvin and Dan Melvin, both of Crawfordsville; niece Amy Melvin of Crawfordsville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband; Sister Rita Melvin and her parents. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 20 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 West Wabash Ave., with Rev. Mike Whitacre officiating. Friends may gather, starting at 10 AM until the service begins at 11. Read More
