Janice Stone, 62, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Hickory Creek @ Scottsburg in Scottsburg, Indiana Born June 3, 1957 in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Harold Decker and Ruby (Shain) Decker. Janice was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Janice loved daisies,wild flowers and pink roses, being outside and enjoying nature. Survivors include: The father of her children Gary R. Stone, Underwood, Indiana. Sons: Tim (Heather) Lucas, Scottsburg, Indiana; James Stone, Underwood, Indiana; Brother: Allen (Paula) Decker, Sellersburg, Indiana; Sisters: JoAnn (Glen) Wells, Louisville, Kentucky; Grace (Steven) Griffin, Charlestown, Indiana; Betsy Lewis-Decker, Charlestown, Indiana; Susan (Pat) Shanks, Charlestown, Indiana; Sister-In-Law Tammy Decker, Indianapolis, Indiana. Grandchildren: Jared (Taylar) Lucas, Kendra Lucas, Teagan Lucas, James Stone Jr., Jeramiah Stone and Hailee Stone Great Grandchildren: McKinley Lucas, Maddi Lucas and Maci Louis several nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by Her brother Hubert Decker and sister Sandy Decker Funeral Service: 8 pm Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana with Rev. L.C. McCawley officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Tuesday . Burial will be at Charlestown Cemetery in Charlestown, Indiana. at a later date.
