James Roy Steward was born October 24, 1940 in Cooper, Texas. He attended Cooper schools and graduated High School in 1978. Shortly after, he enlisted in the United States Navy in which he served for 20 years, retiring as a Chief Aviation Electronics Technician. Later he also worked as an Aviation Technician on the airplane of the Head of State UAE. He had his own business, Computer FX for 8 years in Lubbock. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Roy Steward, and his sister Catherine Lee Wilson. He is survived by his wife Dianne; brothers, Gary Steward of Arlington, Texas, and Charles Steward of Cooper, Texas and sister, Linda Fitzgerald of Cooper, Texas and two daughters Tammy Gorsuch and Lisa Kohler of Arizona.
