James “Jim” Bullington, 83, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Evansville. He was born December 22, 1935 in Evansville, IN to the late Alma (Evans) and James D. Bullington. Jim worked for Clark Security for 23 years and Busler Enterprises for 8 years. He was a former member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Jim enjoyed participating in civil war reenactments and also enjoyed camping. He was a member of Riverbend and Moose Lodge 85. Jim is survived by brothers, Kenny (Sharon) Bullington, and Larry (Sally) Bullington; nieces and nephews; 3 stepchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Myrtle “JoAnn” Bullington, he was preceded in death by brothers Donny and Mike Bullington. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N. First Ave., Evansville. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 pm with Father Zach Etienne officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to SWIRCA, 16 W. Virginia St. Evansville, IN 47710.
