Jacqueline “Jackie”‘s Obituary Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Strickland Gerrald, 85, widow of Smuriel Gerrald, surrounded by her loving family, went to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, July 21, 2019 after an extended illness. Mrs. Gerrald was born in Horry County, June 15, 1934, a daughter to the late Labe Strickland and the late Pauline Strickland. Mrs. Strickland had worked at CHF in Loris. She was a member of Homewood Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Strickland are, her Daughters, Jean Hood of Marion, Faye Smith of Mullins, and Rhonda Fellman of Lake View; her Grandchildren: Danny (Kay) Owens, Thomas (Katie) Lewis, Chris Smith, Summer (Jason) Smith, Charlie (Michelle) Owens, Natalie (Trey) Lee and Melanie Hood; her Great Grandchildren: Steven Drake and Marcus Owens, Riley Lewis, Teagan and Jonathan Smith and McKayla Smith; her Sisters: Patsy Gaskins of Galivants Ferry and Brenda (Vernon) Christmas of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gerrald was predeceased by a son, Martin Gerrald. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon at Cox-Collins Funeral home, July 23, from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Funeral services will follow in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Read More
