Iris “Lynn” Smith-Dennis, 66 of Seagoville, TX is the beloved wife of Frank Dennis. She passed away at home on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, after a long battle with COPD. Lynn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kleberg and a longtime resident of Seagoville, TX. Most of her career was dedicated to the printing & bindery business. Lynn had a natural green thumb and she enjoyed planting flowers around the house. She was awarded Yard of the Month multiple times, for having the prettiest yard in the City of Seagoville. Lynn also enjoyed taking pictures, sewing blankets & pillows, playing games on-line, cooking, and traveling. But Most of All she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.. Lynn is Survived By her loving Husband Frank Dennis, as well as her Sister Charlotte Berry, Sister Donna Mueller, Sister-in-Law Shirley Smith, Step Daughter Misty Dennis, Step Grandchildren: Jaden Dennis, Riyah Banks, Layla Banks & Laylani Dennis and LaLa’s Baby: Clayton Jay Winston Browning. Lynn was very proud of her 6 nieces & nephews, 16 great nieces & nephews, 3 great-great nieces, numerous friends, loving neighbors & her wonderful hospice nurse Ashley. Lynn was born in Kaufman, TX to the late Ira and Florence Smith of Quinlan. In addition to her parents, Lynn was also proceeded in death by her Son James “B-Bo” Williams Jr., Step-Son Joshua Dennis, and Brother ID Smith. Visitation with Family & Friends will be on Friday July 26, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm @ Laurel Oaks Funeral Home 12649 Lake June Rd. Mesquite, TX 75180 Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 27, 2019 @ 10:00am at First Baptist Church Kleberg 13248 Elm Spring Dallas, TX 75253. After funeral services, the funeral procession will proceed to Laurel Oaks Memorial Garden for the burial.
