He was born on December 5, 1947 to the late Hebert John Harrison Sr. and the late Maggie McCain Harrison in Caswell County. He was married to Janet Gwynn Harrison who survives. He attended Caswell County Training School and worked for Glen Raven Mills and also drove for the Salvation Army in Burlington, NC. He loved serving the Lord and playing drums for the church. He loved fishing and playing pool and watching T.V. He never met a stranger. He loved helping everyone all around. He was a great man of God. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife: Janet Gwynn Harrison; two children: Chevonda Herbin Warren and Alfred Harrison; two step daughters: Porsha Wilson and Rhonda Wilson; three grandchildren; five step grandchildren; eight sisters & brothers: Catherine Williams, Willie Harrison, (Deborah), William Harrison, James Harrison, Abraham Harrison, Hattie Murray (George), Janie Flippen and Myrtle Gwynn; a mother in law: Pearl Gwynn, one brother in law: Frankie Gwynn and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: John Harrison and two brothers in law: James & Bobby Gwynn.
